Easy Way Golf launches into the International Golf Market
The Putt Easy Training Aid – putting the Easy Way.
Stuart Smith, teaching professional at Old Joe’s Driving Range Sudbury, has just returned from the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando with business partner Gary Williams. They were exhibiting for the second year at the world’s largest golf trade show in Orlando.
Building on last year’s great feedback of the Putt Easy, Easy Way Golf went back to Orlando to showcase the new and improved version of this popular training aid. Although confident that it would be received well, Stuart, the designer of the Putt Easy, was still amazed by the comments that he received.
Attendees to the show included distributors, teaching professionals and tour players who all appreciated the simplicity of the training aid. The attendee surveys which were carried out each day saw the Putt Easy rated in the top 3 “must see” products.
It is only now that they have returned to the UK that Gary and Stuart can really assess how successful the show was. There are a large number of avenues that have to be followed up but the initial results speak for themselves. They are currently in the final stages of discussions to set up distribution in Asia and America. The largest teaching academy in Florida is now using the Putt Easy to train up and coming stars. As well as a Senior Tour Player taking the training aid to use in practice sessions at tournaments on tour.
The next few months won’t see Easy Way Golf taking a break. Stuart is now focusing on the second training aid, the Drive Easy and also continuing his teaching at Old Joe’s Driving Range. Whilst Gary will be working through and exploring the number of new business leads that they received.
In times of economic hardship it is great to see a UK venture taking off on an international scale.
JUNIOR GOLF MEMBERSHIP
For a yearly fee of £10 juniors can join old Joe's Golf Club, this will enable them to use the 9 hole putting course as often as they like, the 4 hole academy course with other juniors and the 9 hole course with the supervision of an adult. Once they have passed a test on the 4 hole course they can then play the 9 hole course without the supervision of an adult.
